An Eau Claire-Area Wedding In Galesville, WI

It was a sunny, hot Saturday when Michelle and Mitchell tied the knot at this Eau Claire area venue. Located in Galesville, WI the Wetltzien Family Round barn offered a gorgeous round barn, outdoor ceremony area overlooking rolling hills, gardens, a covered bridge, and a bridal suite. Big rain storms threatened a wet, gloomy day just days leading up to their wedding, but we were blessed with beautiful, perfect skies! Seriously, look at that sky!

The Weltzien Round Barn was absolutely gorgeous! I was so bummed to hear that this is their last year in business, but I feel so blessed to have been a part of at least one wedding here! The owners were so nice, and on their way to retire (Yay!! How exciting for them!).

Michelle and Mitchell chose gorgeous shades of purple and a western-country theme for their wedding. A sweet nod to their farming family and lifestyle!

This Western Wisconsin couple chose a combination of fresh and faux flowers (I didn't even realize which were fake! I bet you have to look hard to find them, too!)

Adorned with cowboy hats and boots, this wedding party had the perfect country style for this wedding day! Catering was done by Hyvee and oh....it was phenomenal! Not only did it smell good, but the meat was tender, the veggies were flavorful, and there was lots to go around!

I had a bit of wondering in regard to how busy the dance floor might be once DJ Brettly started the party (I HIGHLY recommend him if you're looking for a DJ). After all, it was hot and humid, and most guests, as well as myself, seemed to be getting pretty tired. But they did not disappoint! The dance floor was filled instantly, and stayed packed for quite a while. I love to see people coming together to dance and have fun. It puts a smile on your face, or at least it does for me.

Oh, and we can't forget the Unity Cob. I've had the pleasure of watching this beauty get passed from one couple to the next THREE times! What started as a joke has turned into a fun tradition, being passed from the most recently married couple to the next. I hope this thing survives generations.

Honestly, it was a gorgeous day. Weddings like this fill my heart and remind me why I do what I do. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Sendelbach! I am SO happy for you guys!
