The Lokken Wedding at West Creek Event Center in Eau Claire, Wisconsin

If there's one word I could use to describe Grant and Karli's wedding......class, it'd be class. From Karli's dress, which honestly looks like it was MADE FOR HER (hello, Charlotte's Bridal!), to Grant's black suit (Men's Warehouse...can always rely on them to get you looking sharp) one thought kept popping in my head all day, "Wow, how freaking classy."


The forecast in the week leading up to their November wedding date kept threatening snow, and while a snowy wedding can be pretty, it sure is cold! We got lucky that the snow held off and the temperature stayed relatively mild. Which allowed us to get some great pics outside at their wedding venue, West Creek Event Center in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Seriously an AWESOME venue, and the owner is so great!

The girls got ready in the loft, while the guys prepped in their own separate getting ready space, right next to the main building. One of my favorite parts about this venue is the versatility of the space. Nice weather? Outdoor wedding it is. Cold and dreary? Not only is there space inside, but it's a beautiful space.


Once everyone was ready for the day, Grant and Karli made their way outside for a first look and private vows. While I love the traditional first look walking down the asile....I loooove a first look and private vows. It allows the bride and groom a chance to have a moment together, quiet their nerves, and focus on each other.

Then it was on to photos with the wedding party and some downtime to relax before the ceremony (I highly recommend a little downtime to rest and relax before the day really kicks off! Even just 20-30 minutes is good)

The ceremony came and went in the blink of an eye, but it was incredibly beautiful and memorable, to say the least. I'd love to point out the layout of their seating. It gave such an intimate and comfortable feeling.

Then it was on to the dinner and dancing portion of the night, *this part of the day always seems to fly by. With catering by KP Catering and desserts by Beez Neez Cheesecakes and Sweets (I can't even begin to tell you how much I LOVE Beez Neez) bellies were full and everyone was happy and ready to dance.

The day absolutely flew by (they always do), and it was a day to remember. Karli and Grant did a tremendous job planning this beautiful day, and got to enjoy every second of it.
